The BLACKFISH is a 2006 Cabo 35 Flybridge. The quality of the BLACKFISH and Cabo Yachts is legendary. The Cabo flybridge model has become a favorite of hardcore Southern California fishermen. Over the years, this pocket battlewagon has been called “bulletproof” and “a benchmark for construction, design, and bluewater performance” by some of sportfishing’s most respected experts. The BLACKFISH will get its passengers to the bite like no other boat her size. Her deep-V hull rides exceptionally soft in choppy head seas and is one of the driest, most comfortable fishing platforms in the business. Powered by twin Cummins QSC engines, you can expect to have the power needed to get you wherever the fish are on a given day, but also cruise with speed and grace. This combination of boat and power was made by fishermen for fishermen. This makes the BLACKFISH’s offshore sporting prowess professional-grade. Accommodating up to six stand-up anglers, the cockpit measures an astounding 130 square feet – unsurpassed space in a 35-footer. Also, added bolsters ring the cockpit for enhanced comfort when bringing big fish to the outward-opening transom door. The cockpit also has two large bait tanks accommodating a surplus of live bait for your trip. As we stay in the cockpit, the BLACKFISH also has two very large insulated fish holds to keep your catch fresh and in prime condition for you to enjoy. The BLACKFISH is a beautiful fishing platform in every sense, but it also turns heads when you step inside for some relaxation. Starting up forward, the boat has a very large master stateroom with a queen size bed and full media center. As you move out of the stateroom, you will find two bunks in another separate stateroom with ample storage for your boots, jackets, etc. Next to both staterooms, you will find another door that leads you into a full size bathroom. The bathroom has a full size toilet, shower, vanity and sink to keep you fresh and clean. However, most of the day you will find yourself in and around the salon. The salon boasts seating for 6-8 people, a full size table for those mid-day lunch breaks, a full media center with wi-fi, an electric cooktop, refrigerator, sink, and storage for snacks and condiments. The biggest plus on the BLACKFISH, however, is that it is fully equipped with central heating and air conditioning so no matter what weather we encounter on our trip, you will stay comfortable. Making our way up into the bridge, the BLACKFISH is impressive. We have all the newest fish finding equipment, such as a Furuno CH-500 Side Scanning Sonar, as well as (3) 12 inch Garmin displays that include our fish finder, radar, and chartplotter. We also have full wi-fi, SAT Phones, new radios, and all necessary emergency equipment to ensure safety is a top priority.
